The Teragram Ballroom is Culver City adjacent and one of the best large venues in LA
The Teragram Ballroom is at 1234 W 7th Street in downtown Los Angeles, technically not Culver City but close enough that Culver City people go there for shows and plan around it. The room holds about 1,000 people in a 1920s ballroom with the original floor, the original bones, and a sound system that has been updated enough times to be excellent.
The booking calendar runs the full range, indie, alternative, hip-hop, electronic, the kind of acts that are too large for the Troubadour and too small for the Wiltern. Many of the best shows in Los Angeles over the last decade have happened here.
The night sequence from Culver City: dinner at Lukshon or Destroyer, drive or Uber to the Teragram for the show, come back to the Culver Hotel Bar (9400 Culver Blvd) for a last drink. That is a complete evening.
