best brunch spots in culver city

April 2026

Culver City has quietly become one of the best brunch neighborhoods in LA. It's not as loud about it as Silver Lake or Venice, but the spots here are genuinely good, relaxed, local, and spread across a walkable stretch of Washington and Culver boulevards. Here's where we actually go on weekends.

Cafe Vida · 9755 Culver Blvd
This is the move if you want a proper sit-down brunch with cocktails and a patio. Cafe Vida does it right, solid mimosas, a menu that doesn't try too hard, and a reservation system that means you won't be standing on the sidewalk for 45 minutes. It's great for groups too. Go before noon on Sundays if you want the patio at its best light.

Mizlala West · 8850 Washington Blvd (at Platform LA)
Mizlala is the place we bring people who say they're bored of brunch. The shakshuka here is the real thing, deeply spiced, served bubbling in the pan, the kind that makes you tear bread slowly and not rush. The roasted cauliflower dish is worth ordering as a side even at 11am. Sitting inside Platform feels airy and unhurried. Parking in the Platform structure is easy and usually free on weekends.

Luna Grill Culver City · 9901 Washington Blvd Ste 106
Luna Grill is the reliable one. Patio, brunch menu, good for groups, easy on the wallet. It's not going to blow your mind but it's going to make everyone happy, which is sometimes exactly what you need. The Mediterranean bent on the menu gives it a slightly different feel than your standard eggs-and-toast situation.

Jackson Market · 4065 Jackson Ave
Tucked into a quieter corner of the neighborhood, Jackson Market has a loyal following for a reason. It feels like a neighborhood place because it genuinely is one. Expect a shorter wait than the Washington Blvd corridor spots, a comfortable low-key vibe, and food that's better than the room lets on.

Village Well Books & Coffee · 9900 Culver Blvd
Not a brunch spot in the full eggs-and-cocktails sense, but Village Well earns its place on this list for the Saturday morning ritual it enables. Grab a coffee, take a table on the patio, maybe pull something off the shelf. It sits right on Culver Blvd and pairs naturally with a stop at the Culver City Farmer's Market on Main St, which runs Tuesday afternoons and also does a Saturday edition nearby. The artisan bread vendors at the market are worth building your morning around.

The Conservatory for Coffee, Tea & Cocoa · 10117 Washington Blvd
Rated 4.8 stars and earning every one of them. If your brunch is more about a long slow coffee than a full plate, this is where you go. The patio is small and shaded and feels genuinely removed from Washington Blvd even though it's right on it. Order whatever single-origin they're featuring. Sit outside. Take your time.

Stanley's Wet Goods · 9620 Venice Blvd
A coffee shop that skews a little more Venice-adjacent in energy, relaxed, slightly creative, good natural light. Stanley's is the spot if you're coming from the west side of the neighborhood and don't want to fight for parking on Washington. The name is better than it has any right to be.

A few practical notes
Washington Blvd street parking fills up fast on weekend mornings. The Platform LA structure at 8850 Washington is your best bet for that stretch. For Culver Blvd spots, there's a public lot just off Main St that's usually manageable before 11am. If you're doing the farmer's market and brunch in the same morning, start at the market, then walk to Village Well or head down to Cafe Vida, that's about as good a Saturday as Culver City offers.
