Best Brunch Spots in Glassell Park

April 2026

Glassell Park doesn't do brunch the way Silverlake does brunch. There's no hour-long wait behind a clipboard. No $22 avocado toast with a QR code menu. What you get here is something better, neighborhood spots that have been feeding locals for years, a few newer arrivals that earned their place fast, and the kind of Saturday morning energy where people actually talk to each other.

Here's where to eat.

Little Ripper Coffee · 4155 Verdugo Rd
This Australian-inspired cafe is the closest thing Glassell Park has to a proper brunch anchor. The patio is the move, grab a table outside on Verdugo and settle in. They do cocktails alongside coffee, which means a Aperol spritz at 10am is entirely acceptable here. Rated 4.6★, they take reservations, which is worth doing on weekends. Order whatever seasonal dish is on, the kitchen takes the food seriously.

Delia's Mexican Restaurant · 4501 York Blvd
A 4.7★ rating and a patio that fills up fast. Delia's is the kind of place where brunch means chilaquiles and horchata and the salsa is housemade. It's great for groups, the tables are big and nobody rushes you. York Blvd parking can be tight on weekends, so arrive early or park a block or two up the hill.

Heirloom LA · 4126 Verdugo Rd
Simple, honest food done well. Heirloom LA sits on Verdugo and punches above its weight, 4.7★ from a neighborhood that knows good food. The vibe is low-key and the menu leans seasonal. Good option if you want something quieter and unhurried on a Sunday morning.

Bub and Grandma's Restaurant & Bakery · 3507 Eagle Rock Blvd
The bakery side of Bub and Grandma's built a cult following for a reason, the bread is genuinely excellent. The restaurant attached to it carries that same energy. Patio seating, brunch service, and the kind of place where you'll probably order something baked and not regret it. At 4.4★ it's a neighborhood staple, not a hype spot. That's a compliment.

Wife and the Somm · 3416 Verdugo Rd
A wine bar that does brunch, and does it well. The patio on Verdugo is relaxed, the wine list is thoughtful, and it's one of the few spots in the neighborhood where you can make a reservation for a late morning table and feel like an adult about it. Rated 4.6★. Good for a birthday, a catch-up, or just because you want a glass of something nice before noon.

Habitat Coffee · 3708 Eagle Rock Blvd
A solid neighborhood cafe with a patio and real brunch service. Habitat is the kind of place you can bring a group without overthinking it, the space works, the coffee is good, and it's priced fairly. 4.5★. Eagle Rock Blvd has decent street parking along this stretch if you cruise a little.

Lemon Poppy Kitchen · 3324 Verdugo Rd
The menu here leans vegetable-forward and seasonal, with pasta making appearances even at brunch hours. It's a little different from the taco-and-eggs spots nearby, which is exactly why it's worth knowing about. 4.5★, cozy room, Verdugo Rd location means it sits in the quieter residential stretch of the neighborhood.

Tacos Manzanillo Truck · 3810 Eagle Rock Blvd
Not brunch in the traditional sense, but if your version of brunch is a 4.9★ taco truck on Eagle Rock Blvd at 11am on a Saturday, you're living right. The birria and the adobada are the ones. Cash is faster. This is Glassell Park doing what it does best.

Angel's Tijuana Tacos · 4211 Eagle Rock Blvd
4.6★, a patio, and tacos that hold up to anything on the Eastside. Great for groups. The outdoor setup makes it easy to spread out and stay a while. Order a few things, the menu rewards it.

A note on coffee before you go
If you want to start the morning before committing to a full meal, Jairo's Bike Shop at 4120 Verdugo Rd is a legitimate stop, yes, it's a bike shop, and yes, the coffee is good. Urban Pet at 4032 Eagle Rock Blvd also pulls solid espresso. Neither is trying to be a destination. That's the point.

Glassell Park brunch doesn't require a strategy. Pick a direction, Verdugo Rd or Eagle Rock Blvd, and you'll find something worth sitting down for.
