The Iliad Bookshop

Laemmle NoHo 7
One of the best reasons to spend an evening in NoHo, this Laemmle theater has been a home for independent, foreign, and art films since 1938 and remains one of the most reliably well-liked spots in the neighborhood. If you want to see something that isn't playing at a multiplex, this is your place.
North Hollywood Recreation Center
A full-service city rec center on Tujunga with sports fields, basketball and other courts, an indoor gym, a playground, and an outdoor pool. It is one of the more complete public facilities in the neighborhood and draws a broad mix of ages.
